And yes if the old capacitors have leaked all over the board it's highly likely that several of the surface mount components are now dead and the entire daughter board is now toast. So soldered on the.

We just received a new SAN from Dell, and have had it in a sandbox environment that we have been testing it in. Last night the AC unit went out where we had the SAN and the ambient temperature got up to about 85F (~30C){no one bothered to let me know until I saw it myself 10 minutes ago when I walked in}. Now we have the warning light flashing and a nice error message that reads :
Time-Of-Day Clock Battery Is Low
I have done my googling but only found an article that says that the controller board may be bad and that is not a Field Replacement Unit - so it needs to be sent back to Dell.
The reason I included the temp difference is it was the only ambient variable that changed. No configs were changed, just overnight suprise you have a problem with your new shiny SAN.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, would like to avoid sending it back to Dell as we need the storage in a desperate way.
EDIT: From Dell 'This is a known issues with PS4100 Arrays running firmware prior to 6.0.5, no actual hardware damage exists, the firmware just reports it as such. (fairly common with new units) - New firmware released TODAY should fix.....
